Dating for Men: Listening to What Your Date Has to Say

Women talk excessively and men don't listen enough. That is mostly the way it goes, even though exceptions on both ends exist. Man or women, it does not really matter because if you want to find success in dating, you will have to learn how to listen. And I mean really listen - not just hearing, but taking time to pay genuine attention to anyone you are talking with and to what they are saying.

09.21.2011 Absecon, NJ - Richard Gingerich reveals his experience with exploring how to talk and listen well. 'I grew up with very talkative sisters and I found a way to tune them out. That was incorrect of me, but I ultimately learned to get better at listening." Gingerich also recommends taking the time to visit the web page - http://www.meetyoursweet.com/attractwomen.

Good listening or active listening is a crucial talent that not many individuals posses. If you really would like to know how to talk to girls, then you are going to have to begin listening and listen correctly. Not only that, you are also going to exhibit respect when you pay attention to whomever you are in a discussion with. It is a sure indicator that you value what they tell you. It will go further than dating as well, you listen to your boss right? If you don't then you might want to start off now. It is also a really important talent if you want to keep the dialogue going, especially when you are only starting to learn how to talk to women.

There are lots of reasons why people don't listen. For one, their attention may not be 100 pct in the exchange. There may be so many distracting things around you. They might also be under the notion that it's monotonous to listen. It's not and in truth, it can be fascinating and it can give you insight into who someone really is.

Here are some tips to help you become a better listener. You can get fireworks with females if you put this into practice.

BODY LANGUAGE - Be aware of your body language, yours and that of who you are talking with.

Look for signs and symptoms like discomfort, rapport, etc. You can fashion the flow of the exchange based on how they hold their body language. At the same time work to convey comfort with your own body language. TWO EARS, ONE MOUTH - Spend more of your time listening than chatting. When you are talking with a quiet individual, you will really need to coax them into speaking more.

OBJECTIVITY - This is so important, do not form opinions about what a person is talking about before they finish a thought. Do not judge an individual depending on what they are saying, keep an open mind. DON'T MULTITASK - When you are listening, maintain your one hundred% concentration on that. Don't chat with anyone else, don't check your mobile phone, listen. This is also part of real listening and not just pretending to do so. DON'T INTERRUPT - This is a big no no and is a indicator of disrespect. Let them finish talking first.

Do you lose friends when in a relationship? The choice is yours. Many a times we find instances where people fall so much in love, that they don't even bother to keep in touch with their friends. This lays down the roots for problems with their friends. Friends in turn begin to get insecure about this new person and also tend to develop hatred towards them. Another situation is when some people value their friends so much that they prioritize them even above the one whom they are having a relationship with. The first bad outcome of this kind of behavior is that your partner will feel that you don't value or love them enough. The second outcome is that your friends may take you for granted and expect you to ditch your partner all the time for their sake. So as you see in both the cases, it will ultimately lead to your own downfall. You will just end up getting suffocated with time. Hence it is important to maintain a good balance between your lover and your friends. See that you spend enough time with both of them. Don't ignore either party. Losing touch with your friends would be a very mean thing to do. Plan outings with them once in a while. Meet up with them sometimes without your partner and keep yourself updated about things in their lives. Also see that whatever happens you are there for them when they really need you. As far as your partner is concerned, they have to be your number one priority. Even your friends should be understanding this. You certainly cannot keep choosing your friends over your partner all the time, or else they may begin to doubt your loyalty. So see that you give sufficient time to your partner. Sometimes you can also take them to meet your friends.

It is very important that your friends and your partner is also understanding. Only then will you be able to make both your friends as well as your partner happy.
