I just couldn't bare the fact that my 16 year old girl is in love with a man that is twice her age. Men that date teenagers have serious problems. What in the world could they both have in common??? I mean it is not typical for a grown man to be sleeping around with a girl who is old enough to be his daughter.
Men who date teens are just looking for someone to control. They see the youth in these teen girls that they once had and reacts to it. Although dating a much younger woman might make you feel younger, it does not make you look younger.
Attraction is obvious, but what about the age difference. I was watching the Steve Wilkos Show and there was a 37 year old man dating a 16 year old girl. There appeared to be physicaland verbal abuse. Both have a child and living with the teen's mother. The man already has 4 kids and one with his much younger girlfriend.
I just cannot comprehend the concept of it all! Where is the mother? I know that as parents it is impossible to watch your kids 24 hours a day. When you find out that your teenage daughter is involved in a relationship with a man that is twice or more her age, there's something that needs to be done.
Older men uses these young women for their youth and beauty. The girl might be in a situation where there was no father role model in the home. And she finds that fatherly love by creating a relationship with a man that is illegally out of her limits.
Whatever the case might be, it is just a fantasy for him. It will not last, because eventually he will want someone more mature and she will want someone her own age. A man who wants to date a teen, just wants to be able to have power over her.
Dating a woman his own age is too much. Older woman are more independent and have more knowledge and experience in life and in relationships. To him, I think that going out with a teen is his chance to mold and create her the way he wants her to be. It's about control.
A younger woman has more energy, is spontaneous and full of life. This is another reason why some men date teenagers too. What I don't understand is while some mothers might not like it, but allow it to continue? You can press charges these men, it is illegal.
In some cases the men or the girl might lie about their age. But, when everything has come to light action needs to be enforced. Parents should be more aware about who their children, especially girls are dating. It is their responsibility to protect and observe what's going on in their teen's social life.
Men who get involved with younger women, some have been married, divorced and are abusive. They are sick and should go after women their own age who can defend their selves. A teenager's mind is not mature enough to obtain a relationship with a man almost two decades older than her.
A teenage girl should be able to enjoy life to the fullest, get her education and experience crushes and intimate feelings with a guy her own age. Sure, there is a time in life when a teen might have a crush on a man older than her. When all is said and done that is all it should be, just a crush and nothing more. The so called grown man should be the one to make sure it stays innocent and legal.
