Lust Is Normal

Lust may be one of the seven deadliest sins but it is poised among all of us waiting to strike in our weakest of moments. It is a normal occurrence for us to be in a settled relationship to be then unsettled by an attractive outsider that upsets the equilibrium of our everyday life. But it is whether we act on it that decides what kind of person we are, or what kind of relationship we are in.

Unless you look like big foot's toe, you will eventually come across someone who likes who you are. Sometimes you will come across these people when you are single and can do something about it, but more often than not and in accordance with sod's law they approach us when we are happy with someone.

Some of these people who come across you are not even worth a second glance, but there will be one gem amongst all the jagged rock, and the choice you have to make is to whether the gem is worth the plunge. Is it worth ruining everything you have with your partner now? Is it worth all the aggravation it will cause amongst your mutual friends?

All the secrets that go with it, the one friend that knows you have been unfaithful and all the ties that go with it. If you do not go with your gut and take the gem up on their offer will you wonder what if for the rest of your relationship? Is this the one chance that you have, part of the plan that has been set out for you? it really depends on what you believe of course, but timing is everything and if the timing is wrong surely you have to resist don't you? That is if you are in love of course?

And all of a sudden little cracks start to appear in the relationship you are currently in, previously small irrelevant problems are now niggling doubts in your mind as to if you have done the right thing or not. In this instance we are talking about the person of your dreams approaching you and you have to decide whether it is worth chasing your dream or not, or whether it is just plain old lust?

These occurrences are rare however, you don't come across these everyday maybe just once in a lifetime, what do you do now?
