When I moved to DC I was in search of a nice Jewish man and I found one at Jewish Singles Washington DC. It is very important that I end up marrying a man of the Jewish faith because I grew up in an extremely religious household and even though I have tons of friends that aren't Jewish, all of my friends from my Jewish high school and college share the same values as me and will only marry within their own faith.
There are many ways to find Jewish single men but if you're at a party or club and are attracted to someone it's not a question you can just jump out and ask because that is awkward and if they're not it's disappointing.
So when I moved here I went online to see what I could find. After browsing for a while I came upon Jewish Singles Washington DC. They were hosting a speed dating event at a very nice restaurant for Jewish men and women between the ages of 30-40 and that was just what I was looking for.
I'm not a shy person so attending a speed dating event isn't difficult for me because I love to meet and get to know new people. I eagerly signed up for the event so I could meet Jewish singles. The night of the event I got home from work, rushed to change into some cocktail attire, and drove to the restaurant. I arrived early and was greeted by a very nice staff member who got me registered and ushered me over to the bar. There were already some other people there for the event and I bought a drink and started socializing.
When the speed dating started I was thrilled to meet Jewish Singles Washington DC. The event was so much fun. I'm going to start bringing some of my Jewish friends to these events. I met a wonderful man who I've been dating for six months. I also made some great business contacts as well as women that have become great friends. I highly recommend this event!
