There are many unknowns when it comes to attracting women. There is not a "one size fits all" approach to this. This is because every woman is different. There are women who are attracted to men who are muscular, there are women who are attracted to men who are sweet, there are women who are attracted to men who are charitable and there are even a few women who are attracted to men who are users and abusers.

Attraction, or getting a woman to notice a man, can be like going to war. Step number one to going to war is know your enemy. The same principle applies, but instead of an enemy, a man is trying to know the object of his affection. This is simple. A man can start by talking to the woman. Most women love to talk, they love to talk about their day, their pets, their dreams and aspirations. Women are like an open book; the problem is that not many men are willing to read them.

One secret to attracting women is that a man needs to make himself known. This does not mean that a man has to be arrogant, flamboyant or annoying. A simple "hello,' will do. Walking up to a woman and saying "Hi, my name is Joe, what's your name?" or "Hi, how are you?" will do too. These simple things go a long way. Introducing one's self to a woman seems easy in theory, however, there is always this self-consciousness that can make it difficult. Most men are so afraid of talking to women that they just freeze and stare. Now, staring just makes things worse. Women get uncomfortable. In order to avoid looking like a creep a man should approach a woman without even thinking.

Once a man has gotten over the fear of talking to a woman it is much easier to take further steps to get to know them. However, the key to success is preparation. Hygiene is a man's best friend. While women can color their hair, wear different clothing to look like bombshells, men cannot. Many guys have seen movies where a girl is wearing jeans and a shirt and she looks plain, but then the make-over parts come in and she looks like a super model. Well, this does not happen with guys. One of the best things that a guy can do to improve his appearance is to take care of his hygiene.

Good hygiene is one of the most important things that come in handy when attracting women. This means having clean clothes, shaved or trimmed facial hair and clean teeth. Smelling good is a plus. Men need to invest in their appearance. However, when money is a problem, good hygiene and a good personality are the most important traits a man can have.
