Reality Burns

Every relationship has its honeymoon period, we love the good times and they are the best part of the relationship. But what happens when reality sets back in and all of a sudden we don't enjoy each other's company quite as much as we used to? When reality hits it burns parts of the relationship off.

It is the most testing part of a relationship when you come to it, and if you survive it, the relationship is destined for great things. There are many ways in which you can stave off the threat of reality but you can also become a cropper to it, if you are not careful. You must keep things exciting for each other, and make sure that you are able to keep doing little things for each other.

Keep bringing breakfast in bed; make sure you make the effort when it comes to relationships because otherwise the reality will sink in. And when it does sink in, and your girlfriend realises that she doesn't like you as much as she thought she did, it can really turn sour. You could end up being on the receiving end of a dismissal.

So to ensure that you make the most of everything in your life, keep doing the little things. Put your friends of every now and then just to make her feel that much special. She needs to feel as if there is a real reason she is with you, and making her feel special is what it is all about. If you cannot make the effort then why are you even with her, in some ways it could be asked.

She is the girl in your life and you need to make her feel that way. Otherwise the reality will burn even further. You see after the honeymoon period wears off it means that the relationship can go one of two ways. It could either go from strength to strength and you manage to get yourself into something deeper than just a fling.

But you could also go into the doldrums and then end up being resentful towards each other. Reason being that you don't see each other in quite the same way as you did before, the relationship isn't quite as good as you thought.

There needs to be progress in the relationship, and it needs to be seen early so set your stall out and enjoy the honeymoon period.
