The realm of disappointment we have every week after a night out is shared by everyone throughout the world. After a night out and after some heavy drinking we all suffer a hanging disappointment over our heads when we don't come home with the person we wanted to.

Whether it be your fault or theirs, or a combination of both there is never an easy way to make yourself feel better. Nobody at home with you and so many different emotions running through your mind it can be difficult to deal with.

The disappointment is of course heightened by the influence of alcohol in your system. You tend to overreact when you are drunk hence the reason for regretted phone calls and text messages that you send. So when you're drunk although it can be hard to control yourself, it is best to sleep off any worries or disappointments until the next morning.

Dealing with problems when you are sober is a much safer and smart policy, you will be able to make more sense of a situation and act accordingly. At this moment you will feel so alone with your disappointment, no one can quite comprehend your current feelings and no one will.

But at this moment you are definitely not alone, you share this feeling with every other person on the planet. Every person on the planet has shared this same emotion at some point during their life, they feel exactly the same way you do and for the same reason. They like you cannot find a quick fix so the same advice would apply.

When you are out in a club you will find that the combination of heightened senses and heightened emotions means that you will not find the night easy. The girl you like is out and flirting with other guys, not what you had in mind. She will pay you attention but also others as well, you need to deal with this in the best way possible by not reacting to it. Just let her get on with things and make her own way.

She will come over to you and if in the very unlikely event that she doesn't pay you attention and you don't go home with her then don't fear. There could be a reasonable explanation why she didn't go home with you so keep your clarity and wait till the morning.
